Statistics: Russia’s inflation accelerates to 0.2% Nov 27–Mon
MOSCOW, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.2% from November 27 through Monday from 0.1% a week ago and reached 3.5% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for eggs rose 2.6%, for millet 0.9%, sugar 0.7%, chicken meat 0.5%, pasteurized milk, sour cream, fatty cottage cheese, flour 0.4%, semi-cooked sausage, butter, sterilized milk, cheese, bread, pasta and noodles 0.3%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables increased 2.7% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained flat.
